They not only develop, own and manage cutting-edge clean energy projects, but also work closely with communities to identify, propel and materialise opportunities for economic development in the power generation space.About the roleThis role bridges the legal, commercial and financial elements of projects, operational and under development, as well as general legal advice on corporate law matters, governance and compliance. It covers activity throughout the project life cycle supporting the senior legal team in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, overseeing compliance and assisting with dispute resolution.DutiesSupport the senior members of the legal team with research and advice in respect of a broad range of legal issues e.g. general corporate law, electricity contracts, regulatory compliance, service agreements and contractual disputes;Advise on renewable energy projects ranging from wind, solar and battery;Provide general legal support for the business activities in corporate, commercial, project and finance matters;Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on various aspects of the energy or corporate projects; andIdentify commercial and legal risks as well as solutions to the project teams and wider organisation.Skills and ExperienceBachelor of Laws in Australia and 3-6 years of post-qualification experienceSolid experience within a top tier law firm or in house legal counsel drafting and negotiating general commercial contractsStrong communication skills and the ability to work as a team, supporting the wider team on a broad range of projectsRelevant renewable energy, power or O&G experience is highly regarded but not essentialBenefitsEstablished market leading businessSupportive culture that rewards performance and promotes career growthFull time permanent position / strong pipeline of workHow to ApplyIf you are interested and believe you have the required experience, please apply now with your updated CV or contact Debora Lengler - 0404558779 - for a confidential discussion#J-18808-Ljbffr
