You will be responsible for:
Working with and supporting a team of legal professionals to service their clients;Opening and closing matters, conducting conflict searches and ASIC and property searches;Attending to online filing of Court documents in Court Portals;Assisting with preparing court documents, briefs to counsel and Court Books, and general correspondence;Matter management to keep the team on top of their deadlines (we love being told what to do!);Attending to time entries, processing third party invoices and monthly billing and reporting;General administrative duties such as receiving clients, printing, scanning, filing, diary and file management;Ad hoc assistance with office administration duties.About you To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
Experience in a law firm environment;Exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage priorities;Demonstrated ability to work with legal staff and clients;Strong initiative and problem solving ability;Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to excellence in customer service;A team player who loves to bring their personality to the office!The firm Piper Alderman is a premier commercial law firm with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and Melbourne.
