Full-time positionLocated at our Melbourne (Bundoora)Fixed term position for approximately 12 monthsAbout the position Are you passionate about fostering leadership excellence and driving high performance? Join us as a Leadership Development Facilitator and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our university leaders and staff. This exciting role is all about designing, developing, and delivering innovative, engaging, and scalable professional development programs that align with the La Trobe's brand new Leadership Strategy and Framework, Roadmap to Leadership Excellence, and Performance Initiatives.
Create interactive learning experiences: Design and deliver a variety of learning experiences in face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid formats. You'll use adult learning principles to craft engaging programs that range from short modules to immersive multi-day sessions.Develop comprehensive materials: Produce a suite of supplementary materials, including participant resources, presentation slides, and facilitator guides, to support the programs and embed the learnings.Facilitate with impact: Lead sessions using modern contemporary facilitation techniques and interactive tools to ensure a memorable and impactful learning experience for all participants.Evaluate and improve: Apply contemporary learning and assessment methodologies to evaluate program effectiveness. Conduct regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with our strategic goals.Your objective is to foster a culture of leadership excellence and high performance that supports the university's strategic objectives. By December 2025, you'll have developed sustainable professional development options that impactfully contribute to our leadership and performance culture.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have:
A degree, extensive Learning and Development expertise and facilitation experience, or postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.Excellent and dynamic facilitation and communication skills (and enthusiasm for investigating and learning new facilitation techniques)Strong digital dexterity and the ability to think outside the box of what is possible and how something could be delivered differently using digital platforms to achieve the desired outcomeStrong project management skills and attention to detail including an eye for quality controlDemonstrated experience in creating learning and assessment resources for multiple delivery models such as short course workshops, workplace or simulated environments, online, face-to-face classroom delivery or blended models.How to apply Closing date: By 11:55pm on Thursday, 9 January 2025.
