About the role Flex is embarking on a new phase of growth, seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager for our platform team. In this role, you'll drive both current product enhancement and expansion efforts, ensuring Flex's products are supported by a flexible, scalable and reliable platform. Your responsibilities include enhancing foundational modules to align with Flex's consumer products and use cases, helping with platform strategy, and closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve goals. As the platform PM, you'll be the primary contact for Ops and Eng teams during incidents and will coordinate stakeholders to optimize customer service. We prioritize a customer-first approach to planning, designing, and implementing platform features at Flex.
This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our New York Headquarters. For candidates outside of the NY/NJ area, you may be eligible for our relocation assistance program.
What you'll do Collaborate with stakeholders to assist in defining the platform strategy and roadmap, aligning it with the company's overall vision and business objectives Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to release and post-release analysis Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap, providing clear and detailed specifications, prioritizing features, and addressing technical challenges Own (define and analyze) key metrics to measure product success and make data-driven decisions Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder presentations Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, providing guidance on platform architecture, scalability, and security Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, mentoring junior team members and promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth Minimum Qualifications 6+ years of technical product management experience. Proven track record of working closely with engineering for successful product delivery (execution excellence). Strong technical acumen with the ability to comprehend engineering systems and architectures. Demonstrated ability to drive impact on goals and metrics through quantitative analysis. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, including leadership. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and ensuring quality outcomes. Passion for problem-solving and a keen intellectual curiosity. Highly motivated team player with a startup mindset, capable of handling multiple projects. Previous experience in fintech, banking, or credit products is advantageous. The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
For working locations in NY/NJ/CA, the base salary pay range will be $239,000 - $262,000. For all other states, the base salary pay range will be $215,000 - $236,000.
