About the role:
An experienced lead nurse will be responsible for leading and coordinating nursing care with Family Doctor clinics. The successful candidate will teach and mentor nurses, providing comprehensive training and support, while ensuring the highest professional standards are met. The lead nurse will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and enhance the efficiency of our care delivery model. As required, this role encompasses a clinical component whereby patient care delivery will be required.

The successful candidate will have: Current AHPRA Registration – Registered Nurse (Division 1) General. Background working in a General Practice and/or primary health setting Strong leadership and organisation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards. Best Practice medical software and Cubiko knowledge preferred Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in General Practice preferred.
