You will be joining a team of engineers providing engineering design and integration across various platforms for Australian and International customers.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our experienced team at our Hamilton facility to support current programs and future business growth opportunities.Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the conversion of customer requirements, both formal and informal, into solutions that balance the technical, schedule, and cost constraints for the platform design.Leading aspects of the engineering program in development, technical reviews, integration, or verification within the scope of the contract to conclusion with the customer.Coordinating with parties (including subcontractors) who are providing engineering services for the project; ensuring understanding of their responsibilities, the processes to be used, and the time-frames involved.Providing guidance on the mechanical aspects of vehicle integration design and on verification of the mechanical requirements.Guidance and oversight of the manufacture of locally designed integration hardware.Development of system analyses, trade studies, and design artifacts as determined.Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
recognised by Engineers Australia.
Examples include: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Systems.Extensive post-graduate engineering experience.Ability to work in an agile work environment.Strong consulting, employee relations, conflict management, interpersonal and negotiation skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently
with minimal supervision.Ability to navigate effectively
within engineering tools and business management system.Working knowledge of navigating regulatory requirements, standards, and specifications.Chartered Professional Engineering Member
