About the Role An opportunity has arisen for a BOS Lead at our Area C mine site.
BOS Leads support and build capability in line management to reinforce and sustain the BHP Operating System philosophy, behaviours, principles, and tools, assuring quality in their application to drive significant improvements.
A BOS Lead supports the ongoing sustainment of BOS through their core accountabilities in their Success Profile: Role model BOS principles and use of tools to continually reinforce BOS as the way of working that drives planned business impact.
Support capabilities and provide direct guidance to Line Technical Specialists (LTS) and foster the development of teams to achieve performance objectives.
Participate in the evaluation of emerging training issues and recommend improvements or training programs.
Deliver group training for key initiatives as part of ongoing staff development.
Facilitate or support problem solving sessions to identify the root cause of problems, collaboratively problem solve and explore larger opportunities.
Demonstrate strong business insight and have an understanding of the key drivers of shareholder value.
Work well with challenges, bringing attention to detail and an ability to meet multiple deadlines.
Build collaborative working relationships and engage with reports to deliver on commitments.
This role is offered on a 5/2 4/3 roster FIFO from Perth.
About You Our successful candidate will: Proven leadership experience at superintendent/principal level.
BOS Leadership experience or experience in lean management.
Desire to lead, coach and mentor a team to deliver the plan and build high performing teams.
Solid understanding and application of BHP systems and processes (advantageous).
Be able to identify improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficiency and production is maximised.
