With a strong presence in Perth, they are committed to delivering exceptional solutions to their clients in the energy and resources industry.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer or Senior Associate with a strong background in Energy and Resources law to join this dynamic team in Perth. As a key member of the practice group, you will have the opportunity to work on complex legal matters, advise clients on regulatory issues, and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert legal advice to clients in the energy and resources sector, including mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including joint venture agreements, production sharing contracts, and supply agreements.Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory matters affecting the energy and resources industry, and provide strategic guidance to clients.Manage and coordinate due diligence processes for energy and resources transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and asset acquisitions.Requirements:A minimum of 2 years of experience in energy and resources law, gained at a reputable law firm.Strong knowledge of Australian energy and resources laws and regulations, including environmental, native title, and land access issues.Demonstrated experience advising clients on complex commercial transactions and projects in the energy and resources sector.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package, and professional development opportunities.Opportunity to work with a market-leading team of legal professionals and industry experts.Career advancement prospects within a global law firm with a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.Access to cutting-edge technology and resources to support your professional growth and development.This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative firm with a great culture and working environment.
