Comprising 8 offices and over 75 employees, we own and manage over $1.2 billion worth of assets, 2,300 dwellings housing over 5,000 people.
About the role
Reporting to the Second in Charge of the Lawns & Grounds Team, the Assistant will focus on Grounds Maintenance and will also contribute to property and office maintenance and cleaning, with its main goal of working with the team to assist vulnerable people.
Responsibilities
Provide quality maintenance and grounds keeping service Perform general maintenance and repair activities as guided by the team leader Assist with the maintenance of gardens and lawns including mowing, watering, weeding, fertilising and mulching as required and directed Contribute to the cleanliness and good order of storage sheds and work areas Collect and remove rubbish as directed and assist with the clean out of vacant properties, as required Assist with the preparation and maintenance of office buildings Ability to work as part of a team and follow the direction of a supervisor Commitment to professional development Demonstrated ability to produce quality outcomes in a high-volume, fast-paced client work environment Willingness to undertake reasonable travel to support regional offices and/or undertake professional development activities Essential qualifications and licencing
Current NSW Drivers licence Current Working with Children Check clearance Criminal record check providing suitable clearance to work with vulnerable members of the community Perks of the Job:
