Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort | Housekeeping

Housekeeping Attendant Lady Elliot Island is a coral cay located at the southern tip of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef. Located on this coral cay is Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort, an award winning eco tourism business.
We are seeking a Housekeeping Attendant on a casual basis working 2-3 days per week fly in and out to join our award winning team on Lady Elliot Island on a 7 day roster.
This is a hands on role performing tasks such as:
Room servicing and departure cleans Cleaning of public areas including bathrooms Ensure standards are maintained Ability to work autonomously or part of a team Competent in the use of cleaning equipment and handling chemicals Adherence to Safety policies and guidelines Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experiences:
Previous experience in a cleaning/housekeeping role Well organised and a strong eye for detail Previous experience in a hotel environment Previous work in a remote location is highly regarded This is a fly in / fly out position from Hervey Bay with the occasional overnight required. When required to stay overnight, your accommodation and meals will be provided. As a remote appointment the only transport option is via light plane. The successful candidate will be recruited to fly in/out of Hervey Bay.

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
