Junior Emergency Vet PositionWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Emergency Vet to join our 24-hour Emergency team in Adelaide. As a Junior Emergency Vet, you will work in a multidisciplinary setting alongside colleagues in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Dermatology, and Neurology, while receiving direct support and in-house training from our Emergency and Critical Care Specialists.Key Responsibilities:Learn new procedures and take part in emergency surgeries.Develop your communication skills.Be supported through difficult conversations with clients by an experienced emergency vets and nurses.About You:A commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.A strong interest in Emergency and Critical Care work.Self-motivated and committed to ongoing professional development.Great work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of SASH.To be considered for this position, you will have:At least 1 year experience as a veterinarian is preferred, however new graduates will also be considered for the position.Current registration with OR a degree that is registerable with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW.We offer a generous salary package, continuing education allowance, and close and ongoing training and clinical support from our team of SASH emergency clinicians, specialists, residents, nurses, and support staff.
