About this Opportunity We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Headquarters in Murarrie, Brisbane. This role involves following company processes, conducting HR tasks during the end-to-end employee lifecycle, providing HR generalist support, and contributing to strategic HR initiatives. It's the perfect opportunity for someone who has some experience in human resources and is looking to gain additional hands-on skills in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities: Implement all HR policies and procedures to ensure compliant practices. Manage recruitment cycle: job postings, screen candidates, and assist in interview processes. Assist with providing support to line managers with employee relation matters (ER). Populate HR related reports and metrics. Maintain records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System). Support training and development initiatives. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR procedures and strategic initiatives. Coordinate employee recognition awards and participate in other HR generalist tasks as required. The Successful Applicant Will Have: Experience in HR, preferred experience in mining or mining service. Knowledge in HR laws and relevant regulations. Strong communication and organisational skills.
