In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating to achieve the best possible sustainable purchases, ensuring the most beneficial supply base for the company. This includes strategic relationships, contracting, performance review, and improvement of the supply base.

To comply with this, you will demonstrate experience in the following fields:
Supplier Development: Collaborate to drive corrective actions regarding cost and customer needs by identifying alternatives consistent with our strategy.
Pricing: Develop preliminary pricing details and secure focus and agreements with different vendors.
Supplier Management: Ensure proper supplier selection and expand and maintain a reliable local supply base in accordance with our sustainability strategy (climate impact, human rights, transparency in finance and operations).
Handle change orders in the execution phase and secure the lowest Total Cost.
Identify improvements and cost savings opportunities based on purchase-related processes, new technologies, standardization efficiency, etc.
Procurement Compliance: Conduct business negotiation and contracting according to global framework and conditions, adhering to protocols to ensure that procurement processes are controlled.
Networking and Influence: Use your coaching skills to support internal customers and comply with financial requirements.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or any related field.
Manufacturing experience in the metal work industry with proven knowledge in sustainable purchasing.
English and Spanish skills at C1 level with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Kind communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders within the organization.
Practicalities:
Hybrid Scheme (twice a week in home office).
Offices in Tlalnepantla, Edo Mex.
Type of contract: Mexican contract + benefits above the law.
Non-Mexican citizens with a working visa.
