About the RoleAs a Journey Expert focused on Project Delivery/Business Analysis in our Home Loan Tribe, you'll play a key role in helping to make great Home Loan experiences possible by reliably providing easy to use product and services, helping customers buy, own and sell their home in a fair, honest and efficient manner. Your main priority is to ensure that the Home Loans business area is effectively managed. This may require taking ownership of specific governance functions, working on an initiative, or collaborating with a team of professionals to manage and coordinate essential activities that help us strike a healthy balance between delivering high-quality customer outcomes and operating as a well-managed business.
Our Journey Expert roles offer flexibility and variety within Project Delivery, as well as the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities outside of this domain. You may be asked to contribute your skills to other teams that support different aspects of the Home Loans business, providing you with a chance to develop a broader understanding of the industry and new skills. Ongoing guidance and support will be provided as you take on these additional responsibilities.

Role Type: 12 months secondment/fixed term
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC What will your day look like?The successful applicant will be open to contributing to and supporting any of the below activities:
Identify/support identification of the scope and capacity to deliver each deliverable before providing inputs into the overall delivery roadmap and plan.Gather and translate business needs into consumable requirements, leading/supporting elicitation workshops, analysis, specification and validation of requirements.Identify and analyse impacted business processes, including understanding of as-is and to-be processes, creating new and updating existing process maps where necessary using Signavio.Undertake analysis in collaboration with stakeholders to fully comprehend problem statements to deliver and playback future state options.Source and utilise data to validate assumptions throughout and after delivery, seeking guidance from Data Analysts where required.Engage with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, sharing updates, seeking feedback, and responding to feedback.Ensure potential and active risks and issues are captured, assessed, managed, and mitigated in a timely manner.Work with squads and stakeholders to translate high-level goals into detailed plans, business impacts, communications, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and change interventions.Plan, facilitate and manage/support testing activities for your deliverables, such as UAT, BVT, DRH.Create and maintain supporting materials, including collateral required throughout delivery.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
A minimum of 2-3 years' experience across various delivery functions, such as business analysis, risk management, and implementing change.Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and influencing skills.Proven experience in stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.Proven business analysis skills leveraging structured thinking and determining success measures through data analysis.Ability to solve problems through drawing on past experiences and applying judgement.An eye for detail and willingness to iteratively improve precision and clarity.Familiarity with agile delivery, process mapping & business/technical requirements.Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.Ability to learn on the job, navigate through ambiguity, and demonstrate a growth mindset.Ability to wear the scrum master hat.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
