Joinery Delivery Driver

The Joinery Delivery Driver will support the Joinery team by delivering orders to tradespeople, loading and restocking the warehouse, and maintaining a tidy workplace in the yard. Duties will include:

Working with the Joinery Manager to coordinate and prioritise delivery orders. Picking and loading orders. Providing a high-quality level of customer service to a diverse group of customers and tradespeople (both commercial and industrial). Finding solutions for customers where possible and escalating any issues. Answering phone enquiries regarding the arrival of deliveries, invoices, and quotes. Maintaining a safe work environment. High degree of manual handling and working predominantly outside. Working as a key/essential member of the delivery and warehousing team.

Required skills and attributes:

Forklift licence (preferred, not essential). White Card. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Effective time management and organisational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Sound understanding of the materials and building industry. Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Astley's Plumbing and Hardware store in Cobbora Rd - plenty of on-the-job training and product knowledge will be provided.

Above award rates + overtime/penalties on offer.
