ABOUT THE ROLE As a JJ's Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, you will work on our variety of fleet vehicles in our Mildura & Robinvale depots.
You can be based in either location - your work will be split between the workshops (company ute provided).
You will report to the Workshop Manager and will be conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.

ABOUT YOU Have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing Have a HR and forklift licence (preferred but not essential) Have a good mechanical aptitude Demonstrate a professional and outcome focus Work well individually and as part of a team Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service Upgrade from a Light Vehicle Mechanic OR Applications from 3rd or 4th year HV Apprentices also encouraged BENEFITS We celebrate our people by providing a safe and professional workplace so you can enjoy what you do every day.
