Job Title: IT Director
Emesent is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our technology team and drive the development of our cutting-edge drone autonomy and LiDAR mapping solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.Lead and mentor the IT team, including IT managers and system administrators, fostering a high-performance culture.Collaborate with senior leadership to drive technological innovations in both hardware and software solutions.Provide guidance on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the company's products and operations.Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers.Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems to support both product development and business operations.Manage cloud services and on-premise solutions, ensuring they meet the company's needs for flexibility, security, and cost-efficiency.Lead efforts to safeguard the company's data, intellectual property, and systems through robust cybersecurity policies and practices.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Manage relationships with external vendors, including software providers, hardware suppliers, and managed service providers.Negotiate and oversee contracts, ensuring cost-effective procurement and optimal service delivery.Prepare and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring spending aligns with strategic priorities.Oversee day-to-day IT operations to ensure reliable system performance and timely support for internal users.Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational workflows through technology.Ensure the availability of help desk support for employees, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).10+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in a leadership role.Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure for hardware and software product development.Expertise in cybersecurity, data management, and compliance in tech-heavy environments.Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.What We Offer:
