Liebherr Australia is looking for a results-oriented leader to join our team. As our Inventory Manager, oversee all aspects of inventory management to ensure stock levels are optimised and timely fulfillment of customer orders can be achieved.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing best practices, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with various departments to achieve operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control: Develop, implement, and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient stock control.Data Analysis: Monitor inventory levels, track key metrics, and analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inventory specialists to achieve departmental goals and maintain high performance.Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and timely order fulfillment.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and other key metrics to senior management.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management.Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics and demonstrated experience in inventory management within a similar industry.Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Baan, SAP, ERP systems), and advanced knowledge of Excel.BenefitsAt Liebherr, we value your well-being.
