Full Time Role Based at Head Office Brisbane Opportunity to join a successful growing Airline Be part of a passionate & dedicated team working across the organisation Alliance is currently seeking a Inventory Controller to join our team in Brisbane.
In this role you will play a crucial role in managing our stock holdings and part out materials to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our fleet.
The Role To oversee and manage the distribution of national stock holdings and part out materials, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of the Alliance Airlines fleet.
The Inventory Controller will be responsible for implementing inventory management best practices, improving operational efficiency, and reducing costs The role is responsible for, but not limited to: Distribution instruction of national inventory holding.
Refinement of inventory holdings Review and processing out of obsolete or not applicable parts to Part Sales Coordinator for sale Escalate issues and opportunities of repairable/saleable materials to the Procurement department managers Liaise with finance to ensure all inventory costs are accurately transacted.
Identify repair material opportunity to support reliability and compliance best practice Perform activities in a timely and cost-effective manner Maintain and manage inventory in a cost-effective manner, in support of operational requirements Maintain adequate oversight of the inventory stock holdings, such that they are sufficient to complete both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, coordinating stock movements when necessary Assist in local logistics activities Identify and implement improved practices Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Management, staff and peers Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Finance, Procurement, CAMO and AMO stakeholders.
Keep up to date with current trends and developments associated with Aviation and Supply Chain Ensure employees are aware of & adhere to Company Safety and Security Policy & Procedures and ensure their actions are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Knowledge & Experience Logistics and Warehousing experience in a supervisory capacity Experience in dealing with manufacturers and suppliers in relation to the supply or procurement of goods and service Experience with computer-based inventory systems Experience in the aviation industry Supply Chain and Warehousing disciplines Familiarity to the operational objectives of aviation regulations Awareness of matters relating to Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations Skill Demonstrated ability to apply logic to processing of data Excellent written and oral communication Ability to prioritise, plan and organize work in consultation with team members to meet deadlines Focus on maintaining accuracy when completing tasks in accordance with work instructions Flexibility, with a willingness to undertake a wide variety of tasks Qualifications: Tertiary Education in Aviation, Supply Chain or related discipline (advantageous) Dangerous Goods Awareness and Experience Forklift Licence (desirable) Driver License Alliance Airlines Alliance is Australasia's leading provider of contract, charter and allied aviation and maintenance services currently employing more than 1,500 staff.
