What does the job look like? Goldstar Transport is currently seeking an experienced Transport Distribution Supervisor to oversee our operations at the Kewdale site. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to address client requirements, manage equipment and crew availability, and implement effective transportation schedules that meet our service, safety, and compliance standards. You will be responsible for a diverse range of transport activities, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities Provide leadership to enhance the capabilities of the operations team and Fleet Scheduler.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.Maximize internal communications and effectively manage change.Drive high performance by setting clear expectations for Fleet Schedulers.Manage staffing requirements and oversee the recruitment process.Ensure vehicles are maintained and compliant with heavy vehicle standards.Provide coverage for the Operations Manager when needed.What do you need? This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who can communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the following:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role.A methodical approach to problem-solving.The ability to work well under pressure.A solid understanding of transport regulations and safety standards.Strong capability in driving performance and managing a team effectively.Excellent communication skills to engage with both clients and team members.What's on offer?
