The Office collaborates with Faculties and Schools with a focus on expanding international onshore recruitment, student mobility and development of new and existing priority international partnerships that encompass agent networks, student mobility and staff exchange.About the roleThis role contributes in the administration of and be a key contact for enquiries related to inbound and outbound Student Exchange and Study Abroad (SESA) students. You will be expected to develop a comprehensive knowledge base about study opportunities, financial obligations, admission processes, and support services, and participate in promotional and student engagement activities related to SESA.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide information to students, schools, partner institutions and other enquirers about eligibility, credit requirements, financial requirements, financial support, application procedures, safety and security, and other related issues to student mobility.Provide continuous advice and support to students before, during and after their studies at UNDA and overseas, including scholarships, loans and other funding options and respond accordingly to complex and detailed enquiries using judgement and initiative.Develop and coordinate student support and engagement activities, including pre-departure programs, field trips, excursions, re-entry and orientation programs.Maintain correspondence with students, faculties, partner universities and other relevant stakeholders.Administer the application process and any relevant scholarships, grants or sponsored student programs.Coordinate and participate in marketing, communication and recruitment activities to build awareness of student mobility within the University community.Maintain and manage the Study Abroad website and a database of information, including providing adhoc reports.Qualifications, skills & experiencePossession of a degree qualification and/or with an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training.Demonstrated experience in higher education sector or working with international students, would be highly desirable.Demonstrated organisational skills and demonstrating problem-solving attributes and sound judgement, as appropriate, and work in a flexible and dynamic environment with competing priorities to meet deadlines.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) including the ability to work productively and cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team and with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Ability to manage and focus on all aspects of customer service to achieve quality outcomes for all stakeholders including the ability to handle and effectively manage difficult customer situations.Proven record of preparing high quality documentation with accuracy and deal appropriately with confidential information.BenefitsFast paced environment with opportunity for professional growthGenerous training and development opportunitiesFriendly and collaborative working environmentHow to applyPlease apply online with a resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.Previous applicants need not apply.Applications closing date: 26 October 2024For further information on how to apply, please visit: How to apply | Notre DameApplicants are expected to have current and valid work rights in Australia.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.The University of Notre Dame Australia seeks to increase the diversity of our workforce to better meet the different needs of the University and its stakeholders and to improve equal opportunity outcomes for our staff.Contact usPlease direct your queries regarding this role to Seamie Hanafin, contact from recruitment agencies will not be entertained.#J-18808-Ljbffr
