About the Opportunity


As our Internal Audit & Compliance Manager, you'll be at the heart of ensuring that CleanCo operates with the highest standards of governance and compliance. Reporting to the General Manager of Legal & Governance, you'll lead the internal audit and compliance function. You'll also work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to implement and oversee CleanCo's internal audit program and compliance framework.
Your leadership and expertise will play a critical role in shaping our governance practices and ensuring we remain compliant with regulatory requirements. You'll support the CleanCo Board's Audit and Risk Committee, providing insightful reports and recommendations that will help steer our future success. Responsibilities will include:

Lead Compliance Programs: Oversee the development and implementation of CleanCo's compliance systems and governance frameworks to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
Audit Coordination: Manage and coordinate CleanCo's internal audit program, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Assurance: Identify potential compliance risks, review internal controls and recommend actionable solutions to mitigate risks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Provide expert advice and reports to the Board, General Managers, and key internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies like ASIC, AEMO, and ASX.
Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor the compliance team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.





About You



Extensive experience in a compliance leadership role, particularly in an AFSL regulated or government environment.
Strong working knowledge of compliance management frameworks, internal audit methodologies, and internal control principles (including the three lines of defence model).
Proven experience in managing, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
Excellent ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in governance, compliance, or a related field.
