The Position: The Intermodal Commercial Solutions Manager is responsible for driving and supporting Oceania product growth initiatives, sales programs and vertical strategies to strengthen the Logistics and Services pipeline and deliver ROFO to the local PnL. Focus is on customer portfolio management, cross-product vertical and network selling development for the Landside Transport product. This role is open to be placed in either Sydney or Melbourne.
Responsibilities: Growth Initiatives Lead initiatives to identify and unleash growth potential for the landside transport product portfolio in Australia and New Zealand (lead generation and pipeline inflow to execution).Identify and explore improvement opportunities to increase win and conversion rates for the landside transport product.Implement processes and best practices that enable the identification and exploration of growth opportunities.Liaise with Account Owners to drive target vertical/geographical growth.Strategic Customer Growth Support Account Owners on customer value creation, landside transport penetration plans and solution design on strategic customer opportunities.Support business development managers with attending customer engagements and meetings to drive new business opportunities and market landside transport product capabilities and solutions.Product Development Collaborate with APAC & Oceania product management to assist in the development and deployment of new processes and solutions within Oceania which support the growth agenda.Drive Network Selling Define guidelines, success factors, monitoring/visibility follow up for network business opportunities.Design and implement tactical plan to institutionalize and support network selling of the landside transport product in Oceania.Please note that this is an individual contributor/standalone role. What We Are Looking For: Previous experience in FCL Container Transport/Empty Container Depot management critical.5+ years of Intermodal Experience with strong commercial mindset and Oceania market knowledge.Excellent communication skills and can relate to people at all levels in an organization.Strong stakeholder management experience.Forward thinking and creative with high ethical standards.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Preferred candidates will be required to undertake reference checks as well as pre-employment screening, including a National Police Check.
