IBM Integration Engineer - 12 Month Contract + Extensions Location: ACT - Hybrid Work Arrangement Available A Federal Government Department is looking to engage three experienced Senior Software Engineers specialising in Messaging and Enterprise Bus (ESB) to join their team.
This 12-month contract, with the possibility of two 12-month extensions, offers the chance to work on secure, integrated systems development.
The successful Senior Software Engineers will be responsible for: Designing and implementing service interfaces, integration logic , and XML schema for messaging solutions.
Developing tools for performance monitoring, logging, and testing to support messaging integration.
Managing interface technology to ensure a secure environment for system integration.
Key Requirements : Expertise in IBM integration suite (IBM MQ, IBM ACE, IBM DataPower).
Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) .
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in technical risk identification , work prioritisation, and stakeholder communication.
