Your role as an Intake Officer directly contributes to providing vital services to individuals of all ages, and families in need, fostering resilience and healing.Key Responsibilities:Manage the intake process for the organisation.Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions.Collaborate with the team to streamline intake procedures and enhance service efficiency.Provide empathetic and supportive communication to individuals seeking assistance.What You Would Bring To This Role:Previous experience in a similar intake or customer service role preferred.
This role would suit a Counsellor in the making, who has recently completed, or is nearing completion of a Diploma in Counselling.Tenacity and resilience would be fantastic traits for you to have in your personal toolbox.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.Empathy and compassion toward individuals dealing with trauma.Proficiency in relevant computer applications and database management.Possession of a current, full Queensland Drivers Licence (C Class).Willing to go through a Criminal History check.Possess a current Blue Card or ability to obtain.If you're looking for a role where you can contribute to a meaningful cause and make a difference in people's lives, Trauma Assist is the place for you.
