About the Austin CSSD Austin Health Sterilizing Services departments are located on two separate campuses. Austin Campus CSSD provides a service for 11 busy operating rooms, Endoscopy, Hospital wards, which include areas such as ICU, Emergency departments, and outpatient clinics. Repatriation Campus CSSD provides a service for 8 busy operating rooms, Endoscopy, wards as well as providing equipment to hospital wards and their outpatient clinics.
About the role An exciting opportunity has become available for a Grade 3 Instrument Technician to join our team. The applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge and competency in cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing Reusable Medical Devices (RMD) in accordance with AS5369-2023 guidelines, and have current knowledge and expertise in the Electronic Tracking System of Reusable Devices process.
