We are seeking a Senior Marine Advisor to join our INPEX Logistics team in Perth . Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.
Key responsibilities include: Conduct all activities safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures. Ensure the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment. Provide guidance to ensure marine operations are safe, environmentally compatible, and compliant with regulations. Develop and maintain Marine Operations philosophies that ensure high availability and regulatory compliance. Manage marine contractors, including ship vetting, pilot/loading master, harbour towage, and surveying. Create and maintain marine support plans to ensure resources are available for terminal operations. Identify and manage cost optimisation opportunities for marine assets and activities. Collaborate effectively within the small Logistics Marine team and with other stakeholder groups. Successful candidates will: Master (Unlimited) or Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency with hydrocarbon endorsement or equivalent. Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC). Senior marine seagoing experience, such as Chief Mate/Officer on LPG/LNG/Oil tankers. Experience serving at sea on trading tankers/carriers. Knowledge of offshore vessel and FPSO operations. Understanding of onshore terminal and port operations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organised and self-motivated, with a results-oriented approach.
