About you We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in subdivision development, infrastructure design, and project management. You will apply your expertise in standards such as Infrastructure Design Manual to deliver high-quality outcomes for the community. With excellent communication and negotiation skills, you'll work closely with stakeholders and manage projects efficiently to meet deadlines. You will:
Have proven experience in civil engineering design, supervision, and management. Sound knowledge of public land management legislation and local government processes. Current industry certifications and a Victorian Driver's Licence (or equivalent). Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. About the role The key objectives of this position are to assess planning and development applications for infrastructure standards, manage civil infrastructure projects to support the delivery of the Council's capital works program, and establish and advise on appropriate infrastructure standards for both external and Council-led projects.
Employment type/hours: Full time, 38 hours per week. Proposed commencement date: Monday, 6 January 2025. Work as part of a team to create a positive image for the Indigo Shire community.
