Your Impact Due to current business opportunities, we are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join our fast-growing Water Infrastructure team. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and high-performing team of water professionals to deliver a range of significant projects for both public and private sector clients both locally and nationally.
What is Required: The role will work alongside Senior Engineers and Technical Leaders, and provide assistance on water industry projects where required, to further develop understanding of civil engineering design, including:
Preparation of designs, technical reports and proposals to inform a variety of drinking water or wastewater engineering work in the initial planning, design, and construction phases of projects. Working with other members of our team, you'll evaluate and select the best approach to solve our clients' challenges and plan and design water engineering augmentations. Contributing to multidisciplinary teams delivering major water and wastewater treatment systems. Contributing to winning work and market-led innovative offerings. Assisting in the development of Graduate Engineers, particularly training in the use of relevant software packages. Collaborating with other team members to deliver goals and targets of the team, section and Performance Unit (PU). Attending client meetings where possible to gain an understanding of the relationships that we aspire to maintain. Representing the team at meetings and ensuring tasks undertaken are understood completely before stating. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. 2-5 years' experience in the Water Infrastructure industry and consultancy environment. Experience in concept and detailed design of water infrastructure projects. Understanding of safety in design practices and processes. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. Experience in the design management of water infrastructure projects is desired. Some knowledge of relevant industry-related Australian Standards and codes. Use and understanding of Civil 3D modelling software, 2D and 3D CADD software would be advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
