Role Overview We are seeking an Indigenous Support Specialist to join our team, supporting a large software application management contract with a federal government department.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and develop a range of professional skills.
Key Responsibilities   Depending on your skills and interests, you may focus on one or more of the following areas: Project Coordination/Administration: Assist with planning and scheduling project activities.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
Track project progress and report on milestones.
Support project managers with administrative tasks.
Help Desk Support: Provide first-level support to end-users for software applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Document and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Technical Support: Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on software functionalities.
Required Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: project coordination, project administration, help desk support, or technical support.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
Desirable Qualifications: Relevant certifications in project management, IT support, or related fields.
Experience working on government contracts or within the public sector.
Familiarity with software application management.
