Join our amazing and talented Supply Chain team in Sydney as an Import Operations Coordinator . You will be responsible for end-to-end deliveries of imports from our factories to DHL AUS & NZ premises.
Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, you will work collaboratively with the logistics & planning team, prioritize clearance and cartage, dealing with customs clearance agents and the warehousing provider to ensure the containers are cleared in line with the internal ETA targets
You will:
Coordinate all aspects of the importation process including clearance of goods and ensuring the import permits are up to date. by working closely with the customs broker agency Ensure import documents are updated before the goods are dispatched from the source units Work closely with the innovation manager to ensure the import permits of NPIs are granted according to the project launch time plan. Create and review supplier invoices and PO's for Planning and Logistics. Work collaboratively with Stakeholders and drive performance including leading regular catchups with Freight Forwarders and Supply Points. Collecting and analysing data, measure and analyse KPIs to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Consistently seeking ways to improve supply chain management, including evaluating approaches, processes, tools, and technology. Work on SAP and Excel to ensure timely and accurate data updates. About you You are an enthusiastic professional with some experience in the logistics or supply chain industry. You enjoy connecting with people, building relations, and working collaboratively to achieve business goals. You have great attention to detail and can work with shifting priorities.
To be successful, you will also have:
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Commerce/Business or any related field. Intermediate/Advanced Excel skill is preferred. Prior experience in the logistics/Supply Chain/FMCG industry. Critical Thinking, data analytics and problem solving Detail Oriented, proactive, comfortable to achieve in a rapidly changing environment ERP/MRP system experience with exposure to SAP within a Manufacturing and/or environment is highly desired. Great communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
