Illawarra location - Competitive salary and benefits Great culture, training and support Lead a flagship branch for one of the largest member-owned banks in the Illawarra About the Role We are seeking an experienced Financial Services professional with a background in residential lending and leadership to join our Illawarra leadership team as a Branch Manager. In this role, the key responsibilities include:
Lead, motivate and develop a team to achieve both branch and employee objectives. Writing home loans and managing the member experience from application through to settlement. Connecting in the community and building relationships with members and other professionals. Sourcing new opportunities and referral arrangements. Leveraging IMB's Financial Health Checks to provide the right products that suit member needs through effective conversations and interviews. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch ensuring legal, risk, compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements are met. About You Preferably experience in banking and finance with experience in writing home loans and branch management. A proven track record in leading people by building their capability through coaching, training, and implementing effective management techniques. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to proactively source new business opportunities across the local community. The ability to manage branch operations in a highly regulated banking environment and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
