How will I help? As the PMO Manager in the risk division, you will encompass various responsibilities focusing on overseeing projects, ensuring they align with the organisation's risk management strategies and compliance requirements, and facilitate effective project execution.
Reporting to the Divisional PMO structure, you will work with the Program Director to ensure that all mandatory processes are completed to high quality standards and play a key role ensuring appropriate project governance processes are embedded within each project.
As a risk veteran, you will work with key delivery and PMO resources to monitor and report on progress of agreed projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are communicated between stakeholders.
You'll be responsible for the following: Collaborating with the Program Director to track and finalise Program/Project Business Cases and outcomes. Alongside the Program Director, take responsibility for the Conduct of Phase Gate review and transition, Quality Management for the program and Quality Plan Management. Implementing document management systems for easy access to Program Governance documents. Providing oversight on policy or strategy changes affecting the program or project. Monitoring project performance against funding investment plans. Tracking and analysing Status, Financials, and RAID for program/project feedback. Ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness in Program Reporting. Compiling financial data from Project Finance into Steering Committee and program reports. What's in it for me? What do I need to succeed in this role? Proven expert knowledge of PMO best practice, including delivery frameworks, and processes with a practical understanding of how to apply these in a business environment. PMO experience within the banking/financial services sector is highly regarded. Experience in coaching and mentoring project team members. Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across a broad range of business functions, including senior management, project and strategy teams, and business representatives. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. P3O / PMI Accreditation desirable. What's it like to work there?
