About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic ICT Service Desk team.As the first point of contact for technical support, this team strives to provide exceptional service with a customer centric focus.It operates in a challenging environment with sites across multiple states and a combination of devices and applications which present excellent growth and learning opportunities.You will be joining a team of varied experience that works well together and takes a collaborative approach to continual improvement.This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis and will be located at our Melrose Park office but will require travel to other Workskil sites when needed.You'll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week.You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice.This challenging role will be a well sought after opportunity, so we encourage you to submit your application at your earliest convenience.What we're looking forWe are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for IT who is highly motivated and eager to further their skills.You must be approachable and able to develop a positive rapport with a wide range of internal customers, and have a patient manner when providing technical support.You will have exemplary communication skills and be equally comfortable interacting verbally, in writing or in person.As part of a small disperse team, you will need to be reliable and flexible, have excellent problem solving skills, be precise with a keen eye for detail, willingly accept responsibility to see things through, show initiative and be able to draw knowledge from others.Although not essential, prior experience in an IT support role or related study or qualification will be highly regarded.Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Office Suite & Windows, IT Service Management, mobile devices, Cisco Unified Communications, Active Directory and general hardware and software deployment will be an advantage.The key to a successful application will be your ability to provide excellent "customer-first" service whilst quickly learning to administer our systems and become a valuable member of the team.Above all else, we are looking for candidates who are aligned with and can demonstrate our organisational values in their work.You will also be required to hold a current driver's licence.
