We are seeking an energetic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in a full time capacity based in Cheltenham, Victoria 3192.

Key Responsibilities: Member of the Senior Management Team, focussed on implementing the Business Strategy for Operations. Manage Monitoring Services Team of experienced Project Managers, Engineers and Technicians;Keep track of resourcing and margin of the Monitoring Services Projects Hit the growth projection targets Review estimates and detailed costings prepared by others in the project team where required Design, develop, fabrication, assembly, installation and quoting of monitoring and integrated systems – having an integral role in expanding HydroTerra's position as the leading provider of environmental monitoring and data management solutions Documentation of all design and project delivery components, in accordance with our Quality System Supplier liaison as part of developing system solutions Optimise resourcing allocation across Operations Teams including Monitoring Services and Rental & Workshop Teams Project management for delivery of selected projects complying with appropriate SOPs and JSAs Mentoring and ensuring required training of the Operations Teams Customer liaison for follow up, feedback, service and technical support Promote equipment and service to clients and identify new prospects whenever an opportunity arises Accountability for effective use of the HSEQ Management System and maintenance of related documentation Minimum Qualifications: Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar with minimum 5 years experience Environmental Scientist, engineer or equivalent experience Solid knowledge of office and field procedures Ability to effectively lead and manage Experience with office management software like MS Office Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Only candidates who reply electronically with a cover letter accompanying a resume will be considered.
