The Gladstone Area Manager is responsible for the daily running of our Gladstone workshop and the teams.
The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the operations of the business lines, the equipment maintenance and client requirements, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety in our service delivery.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result AreasManage the operation teams to ensure we are providing a high level of service to our clientsEngage with clients to develop relationships and build business opportunitiesAssist with quoting and tenderingEnsure maintenance strategies and plans are followed, to optimize equipment availability and reliabilityManage and lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance and supportEnsure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all activitiesPlan and oversee schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivityCollaborate with other departments to coordinate activities with operational needsMonitor project progress, track KPI's and report on operational performanceMonitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiativesAssist in budgeting and resource allocation for all activitiesEnsure proper documentation and record keeping.RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or related field or minimum of 10 years industry experienceMinimum of five (5) years' experience in an operations management role within the engineering or energy sectorsStrong leadership and team management skillsProficient in operational management systems and softwareExcellent communicationStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challengesKnowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulationsIf this opportunity sounds like you and you want to become part of EnerMech's team of valued crew members, please apply through the link or directly through our website at www.enermech.com/careers/vacancies.
