They thrive on providing exceptional products and services to their customers while maintaining their reputation for market leadership and innovation in the HVAC&R industry.Role Summary: As the Business Development Manager (Applied), you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building strategic relationships, and expanding market share. Reporting to the National Applied Manager, your focus will be on fostering customer loyalty, identifying new growth opportunities, and delivering exceptional service to our clients across various sectors.Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement: Develop and execute strategic sales call plans and deliver exceptional customer service to a range of clients, including consultants, architects, developers, and contractors.Sales Growth: Increase revenue and market share by identifying opportunities, managing accounts, and building partnerships.Market Expansion: Drive new business by analysing market trends, attending industry events, and creating strategic plans to acquire new distribution points.Product Expertise: Stay updated on HVAC&R industry standards and company products to effectively train and support customers.Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights using CRM systems.Project Management: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with customer needs.What We're Looking For:Qualifications:Essential: High School Certificate, current driver's licence.Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering or trade qualifications in refrigeration and/or air conditioning.Experience:Minimum 2 years in a sales, account management, or business development role within consumer electronics, home building, HVAC&R, or related industries. Experience in HVAC&R system design and a strong understanding of applied products is highly desirable.Skills:Excellent time management, communication, and organisational abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. Ability to present training sessions and build long-term customer relationships.
