We are looking for a highly energetic Human Resources & WHS Coordinator who loves all things people and training. This role will have a strong focus on training along with Human Resources administration support to the HR Manager. A key part of this role will also include coordination and support of the Workplace Health & Safety committee and its initiatives, along with driving our EarthCheck Certification program. If you have a genuine passion and interest in training and development along with WHS and love a bit of administration, this could be the role for you.Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for creation of the monthly training calendar and facilitate training on a regular basis across all departments of the hotel.Create new and exciting ways to deliver fundamental training (e.g., customer service, hotel induction, World of Hyatt).Coordinate monthly Workplace Health & Safety meetings, including minute taking, compliance documentation, follow up, and support with any Workplace Health & Safety audits.Own the EarthCheck Certification processes to ensure audit requirements are met.Support our Division Heads with Microster sign off and work closely with the payroll team fortnightly to ensure a smooth pay run.Maintain associate records including the inputting of data into the Human Resources people management system (People Hyway).Recruitment elements including screening, interviews, contracts, onboarding, compliance, and administration.Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to create and implement meaningful employee engagement initiatives and activities.Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.RequirementsUnrestricted working rights in Australia.Relevant experience in a hotel environment preferred.General WHS knowledge is highly desirable.Experience with Microster, AdobeSign, Taleo, and Birchstreet is highly regarded.High level of both written and verbal communication.Ability to work to tight deadlines when required.A career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
