KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Human Resources Support and Consultation:
Provide support, advice and consultation on all Human Resources related matters to the Executive Team and Venue Managers, including the interpretation and adherence to industry awards and remuneration policies./Talent Acquisition and Retention:
Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and develop strategies to retain high-performing employees. Employee Relations:
Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication , conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.Policy Development and Compliance:
Develop, implement and maintain The Navy's Anchorage policies and procedures to ensure company compliance to laws and regulations. Performance Management:
Manage and oversee The Navy's Anchorage Performance Appraisal process, proved guidance and support to managers, and support employee development.Compliance Management:
Manage The Navy's Anchorage HR portal, ensuring that all data is up to date, correct files are uploaded and business is remaining compliant. Payroll:
Coordinate payroll each fortnight with The Navy's Anchorage's external payroll provider. On-board and Off-board Staff:
Manage the On-board and Off-board of all The Navy's Anchorage staff. Training and Development:
Identify training needs and ensure The Navy's Anchorage has relevant training programs to enhance employees skills and career growth. Workplace Health and Safety:
Chair The Navy's Anchorage WHS committee each quarter and champion WHS within our workplace. Document and Template Library:
Evaluate and update all Human Resource documents and templates including, contracts, job descriptions, performance appraisals, file notes, as required. Ensuring there is an easy to access library for all executive and managers to access. Monthly Reporting:
Monitor all Human Resource metrics and perform workforce reporting to the CCO, as required.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the HR field, preferably in supervisory role. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.Strong knowledge of Labour laws and HR best practice.Knowledge of the Fast Food Industry Award, if preferred but not essential.Working knowledge of HR systems and software.
