This position plays a pivotal role as part of the Senior Leadership Team in leading a capable team of HR professionals and partnering with Senior and Executive Managers nationally to drive continued business success.
Your Role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, your role is to lead the HR Operations Team and core HR business delivery as well as operationalise the HR strategy on a national basis. This is a very fast-moving business with lots of growth and continuous improvement on the cards for the coming years.
Key focus areas of your role will include:
Leading the HR Operations Team nationally to achieve key HR outcomes and ensure the team's professional development through regular coaching and feedback;
Operationalise the HR strategy across multiple pillars including Leadership Capability, DEI, Training & Development, Talent, Succession Planning, Retention, Workforce Planning and HR Policies & Procedures;
Provide efficient and accurate advice to business leaders enabling effective decision making in line with target business outcomes;
Oversee the annual remuneration review process including facilitating industry-specific benchmarking and data analysis;
Ensure the business is compliant across all IR/ER, Award and Legislative requirements;
Oversee and ensure accurate processes across Time & Attendance, Immigration, Recruitment, Succession Planning and HR Reporting and data management.
Intermittent travel both locally and interstate is required for this role.
About You
You will be an experienced HR Manager who brings strong capabilities in team leadership, business partnering and both operational and strategic execution. With tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, it is essential that you bring previous experience within the farming, agriculture or meat industry sectors to be considered for this role. Your demonstrated experience in driving key operational HR outcomes as well as strategic HR initiatives in previous roles will see you shortlisted for this fantastic opportunity.
