About the RoleWe are excited to be working with Tadano Oceania with their requirement for a Human Resources Manager. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the company's HR strategy. Acting as a key HR business partner to the Board of Directors and senior executives, you will provide expert advice on aligning human resource initiatives with overall business objectives.As HR Manager, you will lead the development and reengineering of the Human Resource Management (HRM) systems to ensure they meet Tadano Oceania's evolving business needs. You will oversee the day-to-day HR operations, managing and mentoring a dedicated team, which includes the HR Operations Supervisor and Head of Training. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be instrumental in driving HR excellence across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Business Partnering: Provide expert HR advice to the Board and senior executives on business strategies, risk management, and compliance. Contribute to corporate initiatives that foster a strong organisational culture and core values. Support and educate line managers on job design, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and training. Represent the company in HR-related public relations, government interactions, and legal matters.HR Systems Development: Develop or reengineer HR management systems in line with business strategies, covering workforce planning, recruitment, employee development, and compensation. Implement approved plans and manage change effectively. Monitor HR performance through monthly KPIs to drive continuous improvement.HR Leadership & Compliance: Lead the HR team, oversee daily operations, and manage external HR vendors within budget and compliance frameworks. Ensure HR and payroll practices meet statutory requirements in collaboration with the OHS and payroll teams. Handle HR reporting, budgeting, and ad-hoc requests from senior leadership. Act as backup for team members when necessary.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with over 5 years of experience managing HR functions in a publicly listed or multinational company in Australia. You should be a strategic problem-solver with strong planning, analytical, and research skills, capable of aligning business objectives with individual goals.You are savvy with technology and proficient in digital HR transformations, including the MS Office Suite.
