Due to our on-going success and growth, we are now seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator / Administrator to support our national operations on a permanent basis in our Ashgrove office. The objective of the role is to provide administrative assistance to the HR Director in all aspects of Human Resources, including but not limited to:
Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle Training Performance Management Workers Compensation & Rehabilitation Safety This role will see you working alongside other key business functions (such as systems, safety, and finance) to support our construction and engineering workforce of approximately 270 staff. Furthermore, you will assist in the maintenance and ongoing development of our national HR systems.
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
A recognised degree in Human Resources or a related business major, ideally with at least 2 years' relevant post-graduate experience. Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail and exceptional record-keeping skills. Experience maintaining HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records. Excellent attitude towards enabling a technical workforce and operations in a high-risk industry from an HR perspective. Experience with Australian workplace laws and standards involving Industrial Relations/EBAs, Safety, Workers Compensation, and Operator competencies for High-Risk Work. Excellent interpersonal skills across a broad range of stakeholders. Full working rights in Australia (i.e. a permanent resident, Australian citizen, or eligible work visa). Experience working in the construction industry across a blue collar and professional engineering workforce is highly desirable.
