Due to our on-going success and growth, we are now seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator / Administrator to support our national operations on a permanent basis in our Ashgrove office. The objective of the role is to provide administrative assistance to the HR Director in all aspects of Human Resources, including but not limited to:
Recruitment & Employee LifecycleTrainingPerformance ManagementWorkers Compensation & RehabilitationSafetyThis role will see you working alongside other key business functions (such as systems, safety and finance) to support our construction and engineering workforce of approximately 270 staff. Furthermore, you will assist in the maintenance and ongoing development of our national HR systems.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
A recognised degree in Human Resources or a related business major, ideally with at least 2 years' relevant post-graduate experienceStrong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail and exceptional record keeping skillsExperience maintaining HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee recordsExcellent attitude towards enabling a technical workforce and operations in a high-risk industry from an HR perspectiveExperience with Australian workplace laws and standards involving Industrial Relations/EBAs, Safety, Workers Compensation and Operator competencies for High-Risk WorkExcellent interpersonal skills across a broad range of stakeholdersFull working rights in Australia (i.e. a permanent resident, Australian citizen or eligible work visa)Experience working in the construction industry across a blue-collar and professional engineering workforce is highly desirableIf successful, you will have the opportunity to join Australia's leading privately owned piling specialist.
