You will contribute to the design and delivery of recruitment campaigns while consulting with hiring managers and stakeholders on appropriate talent acquisition sourcing strategies.
Reporting to the Executive Manager and Principal HR Consultant, you will be responsible for building hiring manager capability, providing subject matter expert consultation, and hands-on recruitment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of targeted recruitment campaigns. Facilitate assessment centres and support on interview panels. Manage or provide oversight to recruitment and selection processes within the QAS. Provide advice to management, HR, and staff in relation to terms and conditions of employment, interpretation and application of certified agreements, awards, directives, and policies. Provide support to QAS Workforce Plan, resourcing, and recruitment projects. Provide best practice HR by coaching, training, and providing support to HR Officers and the wider HR team. Key Attributes: Well-developed knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR legislation, principles, and practices with the proven ability to apply that knowledge to resolve complex human resource management issues. Proven experience in the development, implementation, and review of HR-related policies and procedures that support organisational objectives and the provision of best practice HR management services. Demonstrated experience in providing advisory and consultancy services to management and staff on a wide range of complex human resource management issues, including the negotiation of significant workforce management matters and conflict resolution. Demonstrated highly-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships, liaise effectively, and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and organise work to achieve goals and meet deadlines, including the ability to deal with competing demands and manage multiple complex projects and tasks. Mandatory Requirements: Experience in large scale recruitment processes will be highly regarded.
