JOB DESCRIPTION Maternity Leave Cover - 3 Month Contract with possibility of extension***
Provide high level, timely and professional advice to the Director and Managers in relation to all HR matters, including people and cultural strategy, current employment legislation and awards, employee relations, change management, HR planning, retention, performance management and organisational development. 
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. 
Ensure adequate processes/systems are in place to support all above identified areas of work. 
Provision of expert HR advice to the Director and Leadership teams  
Increase workforce HR capacity; work alongside Team Leaders to endure Costello's ability to attract, retain, develop and manage highly engaged and committed personnel. 
Develop and implement a HR plan in line with Costello's Strategic direction ensuring client focused approach. 
Facilitate and support organisational cultural change efforts by conducting cultural assessments, alignment, planning and implementation. 
Ensure a strong and up-to-date HR policy and procedure framework.
Responsible for all HR transactional activities, including on-boarding, compliance checks and exiting processes as well as coordination of other employment process in conjunction with relevant Team Leaders, including the development of position descriptions, recruitment, selection, contract development, induction, training and exit interviews. 
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management including probationary periods (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions). 
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. 
Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs. 
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
Work closely alongside the Director to oversee budgeting requirements of the organisation and organisational expenditure
POSITION RELATED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  Attention to detail and the drive to get things 'right first time'. 
A positive and professional attitude in dealing with all customers, including the ability to effectively identify customer needs.
Good verbal and written communication and public relations skills. 
Sound organisational and time management skills. 
Ability to use Microsoft Office and be proficient with technology including being able to write reports and emails in a professional manner.
Experience within the NDIS industry along with knowledge of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (Schads) Awards
QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENCES  Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) 
Valid Police check, dated within the last 3 months. 
Valid Working with Children Check, dated within the last 3 months. 
Drivers License & insured motor vehicle.
