Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time Exciting role with a major renewable energy developer overseeing all HR Management for Australian staff and HRBP for offshore wind projects globally.
As the Manager, Human Resources, you will lead the strategic and operational HR functions across Australia, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
You will drive initiatives around talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee engagement.
This role requires partnering with business leaders to foster a high-performing culture, enhance employee satisfaction, and ensure compliance with local employment laws.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and vision.
Lead HR initiatives around workforce planning, organizational development, and employee engagement.
Talent Acquisition & Management: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Implement robust talent development programs to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
Foster leadership development and succession planning.
Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and employee relations issues.
Ensure alignment with Australian employment laws and handle any legal employment matters.
Compensation & Benefits: Design, evaluate, and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits packages.
Benchmark best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Performance Management: Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans.
Lead initiatives to improve employee productivity and align individual goals with company objectives.
Diversity & Inclusion: Promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
Develop policies and practices to support diversity initiatives.
HR Policy & Compliance: Maintain compliance with Australian employment laws and regulations.
Oversee the implementation of HR policies and ensure adherence.
HR Metrics & Reporting: Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of HR strategies.
Produce and present reports to senior management.
Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a leadership or senior HR role.
In-depth knowledge of Australian employment laws and HR best practices.
Proven track record of managing diverse teams and working with senior leadership.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven HR analytics.
