Macadamia Farm Management has been in business for over three decades and is an industry leader in the management of macadamia orchards. When we started, Macadamia Farm Management managed around 12 macadamia orchards located in and around Bundaberg.Fast forward to today, we manage approx. 5000 ha orchards over a footprint which stretches from Bundaberg all the way to Maryborough. Our current employee headcount is 215 employees and with the projected growth this will increase closer to 300 employees in the next 2 years.Our Mission Statement:To deliver excellence in all that we do.Our Vision Statement:To be the global leader in sustainable Macadamia Nut Farming.Values:Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee all aspects of our company's human resources operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of HR best practices.Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectivesManage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance managementEnsure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including employment laws, health and safety regulations, and data protection lawsOversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewingDevelop and implement employee training and development programsManage employee benefits and compensation programsMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databasesProvide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issuesConduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvementQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a similar industryStrong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership and management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and HR software
