Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment) Saltair is a multi-award-winning builder based in Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast. We are currently experiencing significant growth and are looking to welcome a Human Resource and Payroll Manager into our team. The Human Resource and Payroll Manager will play a key role in the senior management team and be heavily involved in the direction of the company moving forward.
Introducing the Team We love the small-business mentality, where all core team members are involved in all aspects of the business, but at the same time have significant autonomy in their respective roles.
Saltair utilises a large internal trade workforce and is looking for a full-time Human Resource and Payroll Manager to support the above engagements.
The Role Manage the recruitment and selection process for all new employees Onboard all new employees into company policies and procedures Uphold employee records Process payroll Manage and develop company return to work policies Lead in the development/fine-tuning of HR related policies and procedures Nurture a positive working environment Oversee and manage employee performance appraisals Develop and oversee employee performance management programs Coordinate apprentice onboarding and liaise with training organisations Draft new employee contracts Coordinate and book employee training The Successful Candidate The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
Experience in working within a construction company would be beneficial but not essential Ability to build relationships with employees Ability to take on new tasks and roles as the business grows Passionate and self-driven to look for cost efficiencies at all times Experience in Employment Hero/Keypay would be beneficial Good luck!
