Health, Safety & Environment (Construction) NTS Group is a well-established organisation looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) professional to support our Project Delivery Team. THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking to find an enthusiastic and committed HSE Officer to join the team to work directly with our engineering and frontline construction crews to ensure that our written system is followed through at the field level. You will be based out of our 12,000 sqm head office in Molendinar – working side by side with our project management teams to influence safe, efficient delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining HSE compliance and positively influencing our health and safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Build & maintain positive internal and external relationships Perform regular HSE inspections and audit HSE processes Close out action items raised as a result of site inspection/audits Develop and maintain site specific HSE documentation (ie. Management Plans, SWMS, Risk Registers etc.) Review and maintenance of HSE records to ensure compliance Management of sub-contractor/supplier onboarding processes Mentor and train personnel to promote a positive HSE culture Develop and present informative Toolbox Talks SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS Diploma or Cert IV – Work Health and Safety Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) First Aid & CPR General Construction Induction Certificate in Lead Auditor Training (preferred) Working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 (preferred) High attention to detail , diligence for quality of work and pride in your own deliverables Excellent communication skills both written and verbal JOB BENEFITS & PERKS Live local, work local Monday - Friday Great remuneration package (incl. company vehicle, phone & IT package); On-site Gym free for all employees APPLICATION QUESTIONS Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?
