With specific expertise within large-scale Commercial projects across QLD, we are looking for a HSE Advisor to join a cohesive, well-resourced project team.THE ROLEEnsuring compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.Lead and facilitate Site Risk assessments.Participate and review in site SWMS/JHA.Develop strategies to reduce risk and provide expert advice.Undertake safety inspections, interactions, audits and provide recommendations for improvements where required.Identification of and facilitation of best practice standards and solutions.Lead ICAM & assist with incident investigations & safety report preparation.Providing on-site expertise for all HSE matters.Build strong, effective relationships with subcontractors and foster a positive working culture on-site.THE PERSONCert IV or above in Occupational Health & Safety.Proven experience and expertise as a HSE Advisor.A thorough understanding of all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Standards.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis.A continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.Demonstrated ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.Site-based construction experience in Australia on built-form projects.Use of One Breadcrumb & Procore desirable, not essential.THE PACKAGEA key role on a well-managed project.$140,000 - $155,000 + Super.Direct engagement and partnership with a highly experienced team.Long-term career move – strong pipeline of work.Progression, mentorship and development.Great culture – social events, quarterly events, EAPs.INTERESTED?If Safety is your passion and you enjoy coaching, educating and mentoring subcontractors to maintain a safe environment, this could be the one for you!
